A chance question from a friend, "You have a barrel roaster; why don't you use it to make peanut butter?", inspired Jeremy to venture into the peanut butter business, leading to the birth of Once Again Nut Butter in 1976.

As Jeremy and Connie moved the company to a more rural area, they transitioned the operation into their 800-square foot basement, where they manufactured peanut butter until acquiring the current facility in 1981.
